Decision Making

In general, the use of consensus decision making involves prayer, reflection, open discussion of the positive and negative consequences of particular actions, confirmation of an intended course of action determined by a group, and, in the end, the consent of everyone involved to lend support to the decision.

Making Decisions by Consensus Agreement:

  • It refers to everybody knowing what options are viable and potentially represent the will of God or the call given to us by Jesus Christ.
  • Self-will and imposing self-will on others cannot be at the center of building consensus agreement.
