Shield the Vulnerable Volunteer Application/STAND Certification Procedure

All volunteers at Holy Family are required as a minimum, to complete an online volunteer application.  (If you do not have access to a computer or internet, or prefer to complete a hardcopy application, please contact Liz at the parish office.)
Click on the applicable Volunteer level below for the requirements and instructions.

Volunteers without substantial contact with children (Applies to Lectors, Greeters, Martha Mary Volunteers, Eucharistic Ministers, Cleaning Volunteers, Landscape Volunteers, etc.)

New Volunteers over the age of 18 with substantial contact with children (Applies to Nursery Volunteers, CLOW Leaders, Cantors, Catechists, Assistants, Vacation Bible School volunteers, etc.  (Forward the reference form below to the individuals that will be listed as references.)

Returning Volunteer with substantial contact with children who began volunteering prior to 2011

Returning Volunteer with substantial contact with children who began volunteering after 2011

Volunteers certified at a different location 
Ensure your "Shield the Vulnerable" account reflects Holy Family as a location where  you volunteer.  Provide a reference form with your name to the person that you volunteer for at the school or church where you do your primary volunteer work and have them return it to the parish office at Holy Family.  

Volunteers ages 14-17 who will be working with children - follow the procedure as outlined below:

Submit all of the paperwork to the parish office - please allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks for processing. You will receive a certificate once everything has been successfully completed.
